George Rogers was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, in 1933. He attended Providence College and was both a teacher and a legislator by profession. Charles G. Buckingham was born at Van Wert, Ohio, in 1846. He left Kenyon College, Ohio, in his sophomore year due to health problems and worked for 6 months at the First National Bank of Van Wert.
